LIFE AFTER THE TRACK
Yahoo is a retired greyhound. He began racing in August of 2000 when he was just shy of 2 years old. His racing career ended in August of 2002 when he broke his leg in the first turn of a race, he spent his fourth birthday recovering from this injury. He was born and raced in Florida, but was sent to Connecticut through the greyhound adoption program. Yahoo came to live with his adoptive parents November 16, 2002. Yahoo's adoptive parents found the internet very useful when researching the possibilities of greyhound adoption. This website is intended to introduce prospective parents to greyhound adoption in addition to charting Yahoo's progress in his new home.
